Donate a Bike
we will accept any bicycle, or anything bicycle shaped or bicycle related, during our open hours Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 12 to 5. We can’t buy bikes or trade for them, but we’ll give you a tax receipt. A $10 donation per bike helps cover the parts we use to fix it up. We can’t accept electric or gas-powered bikes.
About the $10 Donation
We put about $30 of parts into the average bike we fix up. A $10 donation per bike helps cover that. It’s voluntary, but it goes straight back into getting the bike road-ready for its next rider.
If Your Bike Needs Work
If it’s in rough shape, or a department store bike worth less than $150 new, we may only be able to save a few parts. We will happily process it for you, but your municipal recycling center or a scrap hauler may be a better fit.
Drop Off or Arrange Pickup
Bring your donation to 1779 Merwin Ave in the Flats. Turn on Merwin Ave near the Columbus Rd bridge and follow the signs. We don’t offer regular pickup, but we can arrange one for a $25 donation to cover fuel and time.
