No experience needed — we’ll teach you everything. Every hour you give earns $5 in credit toward bikes, parts, and classes.
How it works
01
Come to an orientation
We hold them on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of every month at 6 pm. Just show up, or sign up ahead.
02
Pick a shift
Shifts run Wednesday through Saturday, 12–5 pm. Choose the work that fits you — no bike skills required.
03
Earn credits
Volunteers earn $5 credit an hour to use towards parts, accessories, and bicycles.
What volunteers do
Whether you want to get your hands dirty or lend a hand behind the scenes, there’s a place for you here! Want to learn the ins and outs of bikes? We’ll teach you how to salvage, evaluate, and sort usable parts and gear. Prefer to support us non-mechanically? We always need help with event planning, group rides, marketing, social media, and shop organization—everything it takes to keep our nonprofit rolling!
Under 18?
You’re welcome here. Bring a signed permission slip from your parent or guardian to your first visit. If you’re under 15, bring an adult with you when you volunteer.
Fixathons
Want to fix bikes out in the neighborhoods? We bring tools and mechanics to libraries and rec centers around Cleveland.
